Steve Yu, MD, FACOG, is a leading Obstetrician and Gynecologist currently serving patients at his private practice with offices in Gaithersburg, Maryland, and Fairfax, Virginia. Throughout his twenty-six years in the nursing arena, he has accrued extensive expertise in high-risk obstetrics. After earning his medical degree in 1988 at Texas Tech School of Medicine, Health Sciences Center, Dr. Yu completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at Flushing Medical Center/ Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is also a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Due to his outstanding achievements, he has earned several awards for his dedication to excellence in his field, including the Montgomery County Award for services for breast and cervical cancer program (1996-2008) and Princeâ??s George County Service Award for community obstetric service (1992-1999).
