Dr. Neil Maldonado is a general medicine doctor who has been practicing medicine for more than 20 years. He is an expert in treating wounds and ulcers as well as anxiety disorders, bronchitis, abdominal pains, and other common and chronic conditions that affect people of all ages. Since the beginning of his career, he’s been involved in acute care including multiple Emergency Departments, Chest Pain Center, Diagnostic and Treatment Centers and more recently an advanced Walk-in Clinic with imaging, laboratory, suturing and IV fluid capabilities among others. For over 13 years has function as primary a doctor for patients not only from Florida but from other states, who return for care on controlling their chronic conditions control and prevention. His personalized care, understanding and willingness to listen to patients creates a comfortable environment for patients.
 
Dr. Maldonado graduated from San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in 1996, where he received his medical degree and completed his internship at Auxilio Mutuo Hospital. He later obtained his Wound Care Board certification.  He worked in Ashford Presbyterian Hospital Wound Care Clinic where he healed chronic wounds with surgical debridement and advanced new wound care products including Human and Animal Cellular and Tissue Based Products for graft applications (allograft). Dr. Maldonado has received numerous awards and recognitions for his excellence in clinical practice and patient satisfaction. He has been named a Top Doctor by Castle Connolly, a Best Doctor by Naples Illustrated, and a Compassionate Doctor by Vitals. He has also been honored with the Patient’s Choice Award, the On-Time Doctor Award, and the Healthgrades Honor Roll.
