Dr. Rodriguez is a board certified diagnostic and interventional radiologist who welcomes patients at Synergy Radiology Associates PA in Houston, Texas. In addition to his clinical role, he serves as President of Synergy Radiology Associates, which he joined in 2003. He maintains numerous affiliations with local hospitals, including Memorial Hermann, Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital, Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital, Memorial Hermann Rehabilitation Hospital – Katy, Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital, Memorial Hermann Cypress Hospital, Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital, Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center, and Memorial Hermann Northeast.

Dr. Rodriguez commenced his educational journey in 1993 with the completion of a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of South Florida. He then enrolled with the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida, and was awarded his medical degree in 1997. After an internship in internal medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston (1997-1998), Dr. Rodriguez completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston/ M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas (1998-2002). Finally, he performed a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri (2002-2003).

Licensed to practice in Texas, Dr. Rodriguez is board-certified diagnostic radiology with a certificate of added qualification in vascular and interventional radiology by the American Board of Radiology. Established in 1934, the American Board of Radiology is a not-for-profit physician-led organization with headquarters in Tucson, Arizona. It oversees the certification and ongoing professional development of specialists in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, radiation oncology and medical physics.

Radiology is the medical discipline that uses medical imaging to diagnose and treat diseases within the body. Interventional radiology is concerned with various minimally-invasive procedures using medical imaging guidance, such as x-ray fluoroscopy, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, or ultrasound.

In addition to his clinical commitments, Dr. Rodriguez is an active member of several prestigious associations and societies, including the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR), the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), and the American College of Radiology (ACR).
