Get to know Chiropractor Dr. David M. Light, who serves patients in Las Vegas, Nevada.

David M. Light, DC CFMP is a chiropractic physician and certified functional medicine practitioner at Root Cause Resolution, located in Las Vegas, Nevada. In 2013, Dr. Light earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree at Southern California University of Health Sciences where he graduated top of his class with Summa Cum Laude honors. Shortly after, Dr. Light went through vigorous training to earn his certification in functional medicine with Functional Medicine University. 

Chiropractic medicine is a healthcare profession that focuses on the relationship between the body’s structure, mainly the spine, and its functionality with the goal of correcting alignment problems, alleviating pain, improving biomechanics, and supporting the body’s natural ability to heal itself. What sets Dr. Light apart is that he views the body as a whole, treating from head-to-toe. With the addition of a functional medicine approach, patients not only receive the benefits of being treated head-to-toe from a musculoskeletal standpoint but also from inside-out. Functional medicine is a science-based, patient-centered, and individualized model of healthcare that aims to restore and/or optimize health by addressing the root cause(s) of dis-ease. Through comprehensive testing, Dr. Light dives deep into each patient’s genetic, lifestyle, and metabolic factors to create a personalized treatment plan geared toward improving health outcomes. 

In Dr. Light’s practice, he also works with a team of other healthcare practitioners including a nutritional therapist, health coach, reiki master, and a neuromuscular therapist to help aid and reinforce healthy lifestyle habits. Root Cause Resolution’s goals are to create a one-stop-shop for all holistic healthcare needs.
