Dr. Metcalfe is a highly experienced obstetrician-gynecologist with an impressive career spanning several key roles. 

She began her journey as a founding partner and owner at Physicians For Women, PLLC in Southfield, Michigan, where she dedicated 13 years and 4 months to her practice. Currently, Dr. Metcalfe serves as a dedicated gynecologist at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, where she ensures patients receive top-notch care and expertise.

Located in Detroit, the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center provides primary care and specialty health services, including mental health services, cancer treatment (oncology), palliative care, treatment for spinal cord injuries, infectious diseases, traumatic brain injuries, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and more. 

A 1999 graduate of Wake Forest School of Medicine, Dr. Metcalfe went on to perform her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University from 1999 until 2003. 

With extensive experience and a commitment to women’s health, Dr. Metcalfe is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.
