An established radiologist, Dr. Naran is the Owner of AQ Modern Diagnostic Imaging, with offices in Edison, Perth Amboy, and Elizabeth, New Jersey.

Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Dr. Naran received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Mumbai University, and graduated with his medical degree from the Rajendra Medical College in India in 1988. After relocating to the United States, he completed his residency in diagnostic imaging at the New York Methodist Hospital.

As a testament of his continued education, the doctor has been recognized as a Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology (DABR). The ABR is a not-for-profit physician-led organization that oversees the certification and ongoing professional development of specialists in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, radiation oncology, and medical physics.

Radiology refers to the field of medicine that uses non-invasive imaging scans to diagnose a patient. A radiologist is a physician who uses imaging methodologies to diagnose and manage patients and provide therapeutic options.
