Get to know Allergist and Immunologist Dr. Stephen Brian LeBlanc, who serves patients in Meridian, Mississippi.

Dr. LeBlanc is a highly skilled allergist/immunologist and a valued member of the healthcare team at Mississippi Asthma & Allergy Clinic, P.A. He operates out of the office in Meridian, Mississippi.

A 2012 graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Medicine, Dr. LeBlanc went on to perform his residency in allergy and immunology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center from 2012 until 2014. 

Subsequently, he completed an additional residency in internal medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center from 2012 until 2015. 

Following his training, the doctor attained board certification in allergy and immunology through the American Board of Allergy and Immunology (ABAI). The mission of the ABAI is to improve the quality of medical care by the development and utilization of professional and educational standards for the initial certification and maintenance of certification of physician specialists in allergy and immunology.

To boot, Dr. LeBlanc is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Allergy and immunology involve the management of disorders related to the immune system. These conditions range from the very common to the very rare, spanning all ages and encompassing various organ systems. An allergist / immunologist is a physician specially trained to diagnose, treat, and manage allergies, asthma, and immunologic disorders, including primary immunodeficiency disorders.
