Get to know Sleep Medicine Specialist Dr. Mohammad Waseem Kagzi, who serves patients in Gurnee, Illinois.

An exceptional sleep medicine specialist, Dr. Kagzi is the Medical Director of Midwest Sleep & Internal Medicine, and has been practicing sleep medicine for the last 18 years. He can also be found on staff at Advocate Condell Medical Center.

Originally from Pakistan, Dr. Kagzi graduated with his medical degree from the Dow Medical College in 1992. After relocating to the United States, he completed his internship at the University of Illinois, Chicago, and his residency in sleep medicine at St. Francis Hospital Evanston.

An authority in his field, the doctor is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Sleep medicine is a medical specialty or subspecialty devoted to the diagnosis and therapy of sleep disturbances and disorders.
