An exceptional cardiologist, Dr. Grambow is affiliated with Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s Milwaukee, treating patients 16 years of age and older at their Water Tower Medical Commons, Bay View, Columbia West, and Gateway locations. 

 

The doctor’s care goals include addressing the physical, emotional and spiritual components to his patient's disease. He specializes in coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, hypertension, cholesterol abnormalities, diabetes and heart disease and cardiac amyloidosis.

 

Before embarking on his professional journey, he earned his medical degree from the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in 1986, and completed his residency in internal medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center in 1990. Finally, he completed his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the University of Michigan Medical Center in 1993.

 

Distinguished as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), the doctor attained board certification in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

 

Cardiology is a branch of medicine that deals with the disorders of the heart, as well as some parts of the circulatory system. The field includes medical diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease, and electrophysiology. Cardiologists are doctors who diagnose, assess, and treat patients with diseases and defects of the heart and blood vessels (the cardiovascular system).
