Dr. Stephanie Corn, an experienced board-certified Pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, has been practicing general Pediatrics for over 30 years. Dr. Corn has been privileged to serve countless infants, children and adolescents and their families in both private practice and the hospital setting. She was a founding member of two private practices in the metro-Atlanta area and was a part-time Hospitalist at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta for over 20 years. In addition to taking care of patients over the entire spectrum of pediatric conditions, she has developed an interest in the management of children with special needs, including Complex Care, Behavioral Health, Telehealth, and most recently has been certified to perform virtual Autism Evaluations, the latter of which she plans to begin in January of 2025 in association with her current practice, Whole Child Pediatrics in Northern VA.
Dr. Corn has served on several hospital committees and community boards, including as chairperson of the Pediatric Department in a community hospital in a metro-Atlanta suburb for four years. She has done extensive teaching, including lecturing at the Emory University Pediatric Advanced Practitioner program for many years. Her interest in Complex Care led to her serving on the Board of Directors for The Foundation for Medically Fragile Children in Atlanta, as well as Enotah CASA, a court appointed special advocate program in north GA, which helped children who were victims of neglect and abuse. Dr. Corn has also served as Chair of the North GA Medical Society for several years before relocating to the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia in 2016.
Dr. Corn completed her undergraduate degree Summa Cum Laude in Psychology at Temple University, received her medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, PA. She is also a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She enjoys skiing, kayaking and hiking with her husband (a clinical Psychologist) and beloved dog Evie, cooking, reading, traveling and the fine arts.
