With over 40 years of experience, Dr. Maturi is an internal medicine physician seeing patients at her private practice, Maturi Medical Group LLC, in Fairfax, Virginia.

Providing excellent patient care for all ages from teenagers through geriatrics, Maturi Medical Group LLC is a primary care internal medicine practice that treats all common primary care illnesses as well as physicals, immunizations and women’s health exams. It also specializes in diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, thyroid disease, muskulo-skeletal disease, cancer detection and prevention, electrocardiograms, asthma, gout, sprains, and other common problems.

Committed to helping her patients enjoy a healthier lifestyle, Dr. Maturi works with each one to discuss ways they can make better choices for their health. Her personalized approach has helped to solidify rewarding and lasting relationships between her and her patients.

Alongside her clinical role, she serves as an Instructor at the Georgetown University School of Medicine. She can also be found on staff at Inova Fairfax Hospital and Reston Hospital Center.

Regarding her educational background, Dr. Maturi earned her medical degree from the Boston University School of Medicine in 1980. She then went on to complete her internship and residency in internal medicine at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in 1981 and 1983, respectively.

Passionate about her profession, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. 

Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists. They manage and prevent common and complex diseases by providing comprehensive care and promoting overall well-being.

Among her various accolades, Dr. Maturi has been the recipient of the Patients’ Choice Award (2018), Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2018, 2016, 2015), and American Top Physician Award (2011).
