Dr. Nevins is a well-versed internist whose areas of expertise include general internal medicine, concierge medicine, diseases of the liver, and hepatitis. Licensed to practice medicine in Texas, Florida, and Georgia, he sees patients at Medical Clinic of Houston, LLP in Texas. 

Medical Clinic of Houston, LLP, aka “The Sunset Clinic”, specializes in internal medicine and also offers various sub-specialties. Its goal is to provide excellent medical care in a caring and service-oriented environment while utilizing the latest medical technology.

Following the completion of his Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Computer Science from Millsaps College in 1989, Dr. Nevins went on to earn his medical degree from the Emory University School of Medicine in 1993. This was followed by an internship and residency at the Baylor College of Medicine Affiliated Hospitals in 1994 and 1996, respectively.

A Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), the doctor is a member of the American Medical Association, the Harris County Medical Society, and the Texas Club of Internists. He is approved to issue Oil & Gas United Kingdom (OGUK) Fitness for Work Offshore exams & certificates, and is affiliated with Houston Methodist Hospital.

Alongside his clinical role, Dr. Nevins serves as an Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine, and as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Houston Methodist Institute for Academic Medicine.

Furthermore, he is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists.
