Get to know Podiatrist Dr. Wayne J. Caputo, who serves patients in Belleville, New Jersey. 

Dr. Caputo is the Director of the Wound Care Center at Clara Maass Medical Center – a community medical center in Belleville, New Jersey. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology and staffed with dedicated healthcare professionals, Clara Maass Medical Center is prepared to provide advanced treatments for a wide variety of medical conditions.

Clara Maass Medical Center was named after nurse Clara Maass, who dedicated most of her life to helping others. Her determination to save lives led her to participate in a bold yellow fever experiment in which she willingly subjecting herself to bites from infected mosquitoes. The experiment led to her death, but the study was instrumental in the eventual creation of a yellow fever vaccine. 

The procedures that Dr. Caputo most frequently performs are tendon injection and skin graft.
