Dr. Nnawuchi is a seasoned psychiatrist practicing at MBI Health Services LLC in Washington, DC, where he serves as Medical Director. Furthermore, he is a psychiatrist with Chevy Chase Psychiatry (2008 – Present), and  Sibley Memorial Hospital in NW Washington, DC (2005 – Present).

“Dr. Nnawuchi is experienced in the assessment, diagnosis, psychodynamic formulation, developmental analysis, and individual psychotherapeutic and psychopharmacological treatment of Axis I disorders, personality disorders, and organic brain impairment in adult and adolescent patients”, states the official website of MBI Health Services LLC. Dr. Nnawuchi received his medical degree in 1991 at the New Medical School at the University of Jos in Nigeria. After relocating to the United States, he completed a residency in pediatrics at Howard University College of Medicine ( 1998 – 2001), followed by a residency in psychiatry at the University of Maryland through the Sheppard Pratt Residency Program (2001 – 2004).

Psychiatry is the medical specialty devoted to the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of mental disorders. These include various maladaptations related to mood, behaviour, cognition, and perceptions.
