North Texas –  Dr. Eric G. Chang-Tung brings with him a wealth of experience in Cardiothoracic and Vascular / Endovascular Surgery, particularly in limb salvage (amputation prevention) and vascular procedures, further strengthening the practice’s commitment to exceptional patient care.

A native of Honolulu, Hawaii, Dr. Chang-Tung is a multiple board-certified surgeon specializing in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery. His extensive training includes completing two rigorous residencies and two fellowship programs. He previously served as a staff surgeon at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, where he honed his skills in complex thoracic surgical interventions.

Dr. Chang-Tung’s graduate level background in Engineering complements his medical expertise, with research interests focusing on graft rheology and topographic fluorescence spectroscopy. He is a strong advocate for minimally invasive surgical techniques, employing endovascular and thoracoscopic approaches to enhance patient recovery and outcomes.

In his personal life, Dr. Chang-Tung and his wife have raised two successful engineers.
