Get to know Cardiologist Dr. Marc A. Nolan, who serves patients in New York, New York.

A top cardiologist with 20+ years of experience, Dr. Nolan’s areas of focus include non-invasive cardiology, internal medicine, nuclear cardiology, preventive cardiology, and vascular medicine. He can be found on staff at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, New York.

In affiliation with Northwell Health, he practices at Northwell Health Physician Partners Cardiology – Midtown, Madison Avenue; Northwell Health Physician Partners Cardiology – Upper East Side, 88th Street; and Northwell Health Physician Partners Cardiology – Upper East Side, East End Ave.

The doctor’s journey into medicine began after he obtained his medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, D.C. He went on to complete his residency in internal medicine and his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Lenox Hill Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident. He also completed an additional imaging fellowship at Mount Sinai Morningside.

With regard to his noteworthy accomplishments, Dr. Nolan is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. 

In addition, he is board-certified in nuclear cardiology by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology (CBNC). The CBNC certification program validates expertise and knowledge in the field of nuclear cardiology.

With a commitment to excellence, Dr. Nolan is an active member of the American Medical Association, the American Society of Echocardiography, and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP) and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC).

Cardiology is a branch of medicine that deals with the disorders of the heart, as well as some parts of the circulatory system. The field includes medical diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease, and electrophysiology. Cardiologists are doctors who diagnose, assess, and treat patients with diseases and defects of the heart and blood vessels (the cardiovascular system).

On a more personal note, Dr. Nolan speaks several languages, including English, Spanish, and Italian.
