Get to know Nephrologist Dr. Franck Belibi, who serves patients in Aurora, Colorado.

Currently practicing at Grace Health Clinic in Aurora, Colorado, Dr. Belibi offers a range of treatments for various pathologies, including physicals, suboxone therapy, high blood pressure, kidney failure/dialysis, diabetes, cluster headaches, emphysema, and hospital and ER follow-ups.

Beginning his medical education at the Catholic University of Louvain (UCL) in Brussels, Belgium, he went on to relocate to the United States, where quickly became involved in a groundbreaking research project at the Kansas University Medical Center, focusing on the effects of caffeine on Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD). 

Collaborating with the renowned Nephrologist, Dr. Jared Grantham, Dr. Belibi played a pivotal role in a team that made a significant discovery. This breakthrough not only garnered multiple awards but also earned him recognition from the American government, highlighting the national merit of his research and its positive impact on PKD patients globally.

Continuing his academic and professional journey, he completed his residency in internal medicine at the Kansas University Medical Center and pursued a fellowship in nephrology at the esteemed University of Colorado Medical School & Hospital. Additionally, he developed a specialization in addiction therapy, with a focus on Suboxone therapy and management.

With an unwavering commitment to his specialty, the doctor is board-certified in nephrology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Nephrology is a specialty of medicine  that concerns itself with the kidneys. It is the study of normal kidney function and kidney disease, the preservation of kidney health, and the treatment of kidney disease, from diet and medication to renal replacement therapy. Nephrologists have advanced training in treating kidney disease. They diagnose and treat kidney failure, as well as help patients by prescribing medications, offering special diet advice, and coordinating dialysis care or kidney transplantation when it becomes necessary.
