His career in medicine began in 1991, when he graduated from the London Hospital Medical College of the University of London in the United Kingdom. After moving to the United States, Dr. Burke completed internships at Emory University and Wake Forest University, and then residencies at Emory University Hospital and the North Carolina Baptist Hospital. A fellowship followed at the Oregon Health and Science University in Portland. Dr. Alan Burke is a very experienced otolaryngologist and surgeon, having been in practice for over 25 years. Dual board certified in Otolaryngology and in Plastic Surgery and Facial Surgery, Dr. Burke provides a comprehensive range of surgical solutions for conditions and disorders relating to the head, neck, ear, nose and throat. Expert procedures performed by him include ear tube placement, balloon sinuplasty, sinus endoscopy, head and neck surgery, tonsillectomy, and laryngoscopy.
