Back in 2004, Dr. Hepburn earned his Doctor of Osteopathic medicine degree from the Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at the Doctors Hospital of Stark County in 2008.

Holding a license to practice medicine in Arizona, he is an active member of the American Osteopathic Association.
