Get to know Emergency Physician Dr. Fadi Daouk, who serves patients in Michigan.

An excellent emergency physician, Dr. Daouk believes in treating his patients the way you like to be treated with the utmost respect. He is licensed to practice medicine in Michigan, remaining affiliated with Ascension St. John Hospital and Lake Huron Medical Center.

Before embarking on his professional journey, Dr. Daouk graduated with his medical degree from the University of Mosul College of Medicine in Iraq in 1985. He then went on to perform his residencies in the United States, completing a residency in family medicine at Hoboken University Medical Center in 1991, a residency in family medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in 1993, a residency in emergency medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in 2008, and a residency in emergency medicine at Ascension St. John Hospital in 2011.

With over four decades of experience, the doctor is board-certified in emergency medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM). The ABEM is one of 24 medical specialty certification boards recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties.

Furthermore, he is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine, a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.

Emergency medicine, also known as accident and emergency medicine, is the medical specialty concerned with the care of illnesses or injuries requiring immediate medical attention. An emergency physician works in an emergency department to care for acutely ill or injured patients on an unscheduled basis.
