Dr. Anil K. Nalubotula is a highly accomplished board-certified hospitalist and internist with over 22 years of experience in the field of medicine and public health. Holding an MD from Kurnool Medical College, India, and an MPH from New Mexico State University, he completed his Internal Medicine Residency at McLaren Regional Medical Center, affiliated with Michigan State University. Currently, Dr. Nalubotula serves as a hospitalist at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth and Hendrick Medical Center in Brownwood, Texas. He has held leadership roles, including Medical Director at United Regional Hospital in Wichita Falls, Texas. 

An active educator, he is an Adjunct Faculty member at the Burnett School of Medicine at Texas Christian University and a Volunteer Faculty for the General Internal Medicine Statewide Preceptorship Program (part of ACP). Dr. Nalubotula is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) and holds a CHCQM (Physician Advisor) certification from ABQUARP. His professional memberships include the Society of Hospital Medicine, the American College of Physicians, and others. Recognized for his contributions, he has received awards such as the “Excellence in Education” from NMSU and is committed to advancing healthcare through clinical practice, teaching, and research.

With an unwavering commitment to providing quality, competent, and compassionate care, the 188-bed acute care facility has been a cornerstone of healthcare for the Central Texas area since its establishment in 1969.

Hendrick Medical Center Brownwood, formerly known as Brownwood Regional Medical Center, is committed to advancing healthcare services in the region. The facility offers a comprehensive range of services, including inpatient care, a Level IV trauma center with 24/7 emergent care with on-site access to helicopter transport, a women’s center/obstetric unit and Level II nursery, outpatient services, a sleep lab center, and specialized cardiac and cancer care. The hospital also houses a gastroenterology lab and a robust surgical services program.

Dr. Nalubotula, an accomplished physician, educated in India, graduated with his Medical Degree from Kurnool Medical College in 2004. He completed his internship at the Government General Hospital in Kurnool, followed by a residency at McLaren Flint, Michigan, in 2012.

As a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a member of the Society of Hospital Medicine, Dr. Nalubotula continually seeks to enhance his skills and knowledge to further improve patient outcomes. His dedication to ongoing education and professional development ensures that he remains at the forefront of advancements in internal medicine.
