Tooth infection
If a tooth is infected due to an infected nerve, antibiotics alone cannot eliminate the infection. The infected nerve and blood vessels must be removed from the tooth root canal therapy before the infection can heal. If the tooth had previous root canal treatment and is still infected then there may be a fractured root which usually means the tooth needs to be removed. It is unhealthy to have a chronic infection anywhere in your body. READ MORE
