Get to know Plastic Surgeon Dr. Jose Rodríguez-Feliz, who serves patients in Coral Gables, Florida.

Nationally renowned board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Rodríguez-Feliz specializes in surgical and non-surgical rejuvenation of the eyelids, face, and body. Catering to both local and international clientele at his state-of-the-art boutique practice and accredited surgical facility in Coral Gables, Florida, he represents the next generation of surgical and nonsurgical eyelids, face, and body aesthetics.

Mastering the art of beauty, he is board-certified in plastic surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). The mission of the ABPS is to promote safe, ethical, efficacious plastic surgery to the public by maintaining high standards for the education, examination, certification, and continuous certification of plastic surgeons as specialists and subspecialists.

With a solid educational background, Dr. Rodríguez-Feliz received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst before obtaining his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine with High Honors. He performed his internship in general surgery at UMass Memorial Medical Center and completed his integrated plastic surgery residency at Albany Medical College.

Committed to learning the most advanced techniques, he performed an elective fellowship in oculoplastic and aesthetic surgery under the tutelage of world-renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Mark Codner. This additional training afforded Dr. Rodríguez-Feliz the opportunity to embrace and utilize his artistic eye while perfecting his aesthetic eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) skills. He also has extensive experience performing complex revisional eyelid surgery, droopy eyelid (ptosis) surgery, facial plastic surgery (face- and neck lifts, nose surgery, ear surgery), non-surgical facial rejuvenation (Botox®/Dysport®, injectable fillers and skincare), and aesthetic breast surgery.

With expertise and excellence as an aesthetic plastic surgeon, Dr. Rodríguez-Feliz has become the go-to source for local and national media for expert commentary about plastic surgery trends and cutting-edge aesthetic treatments. He regularly appears on television networks such as Telemundo, Univision, NBC Miami and CBS Miami.

He was also awarded the 2015 Best Paper Award by Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

The doctor’s accolades include being named an Haute Living Beauty Expert (and keynote speaker at the publication’s 2019 Beauty Summit) as well as one of the Top 10 Miami Plastic Surgeons, Miami Indulge magazine’s Top Doctors and Aesthetic Everything’s Top 10 Plastic Surgeons in the East.

Originally from Puerto Rico, Dr. Rodríguez-Feliz is fluent in English and Spanish. When he is not indulging his passion for plastic surgery, he enjoys the natural beauty of Miami with his wife and three young children, and often travels back home to Puerto Rico to relax with family and friends.
