Growing up on the East Coast, Dr. Campano graduated as the class valedictorian from Notre Dame Preparatory School in Towson, Maryland, in 1987. She then pursued higher education at Franklin and Marshall College, where she graduated in 1991 with a double major in Biology and French. Her passion for languages led her to spend eight months in Nantes, France, during her junior year abroad, where she became fluent in French.
Dr. Campano furthered her education with a Master’s of Science Degree in Anatomy from the University of Maryland, where she earned a perfect 4.0 GPA. During her time there, she not only excelled academically but also taught anatomy to Shock Trauma nurses at the renowned Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. Following this, she attended the University of Maryland School of Medicine, where she published several research papers, demonstrating her commitment to advancing medical knowledge.
In 1997, Dr. Campano moved to the West Coast, where she spent eight years in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her surgical training included a general surgery internship at U.C. Davis and a residency in otorhinolaryngology at Kaiser Permanente. Her research earned her multiple awards, including three consecutive honors at the annual Bay Area Residents’ Research Symposium, showcasing her dedication to the field.
Completing her chief residency, Dr. Campano began her professional practice at Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco, where she played a vital role in training residents in surgery. She became board-certified in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 2003, solidifying her status as an expert in her field.
Dr. Campano eventually relocated to Southern California, where she worked in Ridgecrest before establishing her practice in Lancaster in 2005. Her practice encompasses all aspects of otorhinolaryngology, including innovative treatments for snoring, complex ear surgeries, sinus surgery, voice disorders, and management of head and neck cancers. She is particularly noted for her expertise in thyroid and parathyroid surgery, as well as complex skin cancer reconstructions.
In addition to her surgical prowess, Dr. Campano offers a range of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery services.
