Get to know OBGYN Dr. Tracy L. Bellavance, who serves the population of Indiana.

Dr. Bellavance completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science. Furthering her education she then graduated with her Medical Degree from the Mayo Medical School in 1993, giving her over two decades of experience in her field. After obtaining her medical degree she then completed her OB-GYN residency at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine.

Dr. Bellavance is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. To stay up to date in her field, she remains a member of the Fort Wayne Medical Society, Indiana State Medical Association, and has been inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Bellavance currently practices as a OBGYN with the Women’s Health Advantage and is affiliated with the Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Dupont Hospital, and Parkview Hospital.

Obstetrics and gynecology is a broad and diverse branch of medicine that emcompasses two subspecialities: obstetrics (covering pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period) and gynecology (covering the health of the female reproductive system). Obstetrician-gynecologists (OB/GYN) are physicians who possess special knowledge, skills and professional capability in the medical and surgical care of the female reproductive system and associated disorders. This enables them to serve as consultants to other physicians and as primary physicians for women.
