Dr. Husain’s career in medicine started in 1976 when he graduated from the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in Aligarh ,U.P, India. After moving to the United States, he completed Urology residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, in Newark, before entering private practice. Dr. Aftab Husain is a very experienced physician, having been in practice for more than four decades. Dr. Husain is certified by the American Board of Urology. He treats and diagnoses a diverse range of conditions in patients young and old. Conditions treated by him include kidney stones, , prostatic hypertrophy, erectile dysfunction, male infertility , hypogonadism, urinary incontinence, cancer of Prostate, Bladder, Kidney and Testes, Erectile Dysfunction and Premature ejaculation, Peyronie’s disease and Interstitial cystitis, and treatment of STD. Expert procedures undertaken by him include cystoscopy, REZUM, Transurethral resection of prostate.
