A distinguished dermatopathologist, Dr. Jordan brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the laboratory, further reinforcing DLCS’s dedication to providing innovative and precise diagnostic services in dermatopathology.

Founded in 1984 by Dr. Tom Olsen, DLCS has served as a national leader in skin pathology for over 40 years, with locations in Dayton, Ohio, and Troy, Michigan. The laboratory is committed to delivering the highest standard of care through a team of highly trained and board-certified dermatopathologists. With Dr. Jordan at the helm, DLCS is poised to continue its tradition of excellence, quality service, and education in patient care.

Dr. Jordan earned her Medical Degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University in 2009, followed by a rigorous residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York from 2009 to 2013. She then specialized in dermatopathology through a fellowship at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center from 2013 to 2014, equipping her with advanced skills in the diagnosis of skin diseases at the microscopic level. Her diverse training background ensures that she is well-prepared to tackle complex dermatopathological cases.

Before joining DLCS, Dr. Jordan served as the assistant laboratory director at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, where she specialized in dermatopathology and head and neck pathology. Her experience with regulatory and compliance requirements, including successful preparations for credentialing inspections by the College of American Pathologists and the Joint Commission, enhances DLCS’s operational excellence.

Dr. Jordan is board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology as well as Dermatopathology by the American Board of Pathology and is licensed to practice in multiple states, including North Carolina, Indiana, West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois, and Michigan. Her extensive research interests encompass infectious diseases of the skin, uveal melanoma, and head and neck tumors, and she has contributed to numerous publications and national lectures.
