Andrew Lustbader, MD, is a child and adolescent psychiatrist at the Therapeutic Center for Children and Families, and is affiliated with the Yale Child Study Center. Dr. Andrew Lustbader is a very experienced psychiatrist, having been in practice for more than 25 years. His career in psychiatry began in 1991, when he graduated from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Yeshiva University. This was followed by residencies at Yale New Haven Hospital and Yale University, and a fellowship from the Yale University School of Medicine, with whom he remains associated. Dr. Lustbader is triple board certified in Pediatrics, General Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He is renowned as one of Connecticut’s foremost child and adolescent psychiatrists. Dr. Lustbader has also practiced as a pediatrician, giving him a unique knowledge of how to best provide psychiatric care for the young. Conditions that he treats include ADD/ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma, anxiety, OCD, depression, and other emotional issues in children and adults. He also provides help for parenting and divorce issues. Alongside his busy practice, Dr. Lustbader also serves as an Associate Clinical Professor at Yale.
