With over three decades of experience in his field, he is affiliated with several hospitals and medical centers in his local area, including Martin General Hospital (serving as Chief of Staff), Vidant Medical Center, and Sentara Albemarle Medical Center.
A Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP) and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), Dr. Jacob is board-certified in internal medicine and adult cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
