Saratoga Springs Cardiologist Recognized for Lifelong Dedication to Heart Health and Community Service

Dr. Andrij O. Baran, MD, FACC, a distinguished cardiologist based in Saratoga Springs, New York, is being honored for his outstanding contributions to cardiovascular medicine and his unwavering commitment to patient care spanning more than 45 years. As the President of Saratoga Cardiology Associates, Dr. Baran has been instrumental in advancing heart health services in the Capital Region, earning the trust and admiration of both patients and peers. 

Dr. Baran’s medical journey commenced at Georgetown University School of Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1978. He completed his residency and internship in Internal Medicine at Albany Medical Center, followed by fellowships in Cardiology at Strong Memorial Hospital and Harvard University’s New England Deaconess Hospital. Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease, Dr. Baran is also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, reflecting his commitment to excellence in the field. 

Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Baran has specialized in various areas, including nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, pacemaker implantation, and cardiac electrophysiology. His practice offers a comprehensive range of services such as exercise stress testing, Holter monitoring, and cardiac rehabilitation, ensuring holistic care for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions. His dedication to patient-centered care is evident in his impressive 4.9 out of 5 patient satisfaction rating, with many patients praising his attentive listening, clear communication, and compassionate approach.
