Get to know Vein Specialist Dr. Mark A. Ciagne, who serves patients throughout the State of Minnesota.

A trusted physician, Dr. Ciagne has extensive knowledge in the diagnosis and treatment of varicose vein disease and related disorders.

Educated in the United States, Dr. Ciagne graduated from the Creighton University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in general surgery at Hennepin County Medical Center, and then went on to complete his fellowship in occupational and environmental medicine at Regions Hospital/HealthPartners.

As a testament of his continued education, the doctor is board-certified in occupational medicine by the American Board of Preventive Medicine, a member of the American Board of Medical Specialties that issues “certificates of special knowledge” in the specialty of preventive medicine.

On a professional level, she is a proud member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, the American College of Preventive Medicine, the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, and the Hitchcock Surgical Society.

Among his prior professional experiences, Dr. Ciagne worked as an attending occupational and urgent care physician at Park Nicollet in St. Paul, and served as a general and trauma surgeon at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, Minnesota.
