Get to know Family Physician Dr. Lynn Harper-Nimock, who serves patients in Jacksonville, Florida.

Dr. Harper-Nimock is an incredible family physician who has been caring for the health and well-being of her patients since 1985. 

With clinical interests in health and wellness and end-of-life care, she is currently in practice with Village Medical at Walgreens in Jacksonville, Florida.

Providing comprehensive primary care services, the doctors and staff at Village Medical partner with patients to understand their needs, and focus not just on treatment, but also education, prevention, and chronic health issues. They combine their knowledge and compassion with the tools and technology needed to help create healthier, happier lives for their patients. 

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Harper-Nimock earned her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Missouri—Kansas City in Missouri. She then attended the University of Missouri—Kansas City School of Medicine for her medical degree, and went on to complete her residency at Tennessee Family Practice in Memphis. 

A member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Dr. Harper-Nimock also has hospice medical director certification.

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. A family physician is often the first person a patient sees when seeking healthcare services. They examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility. 

When she is not helping patients, Dr. Harper-Nimock enjoys family camping and travel as well as game nights.
