Get to know Family Physician Dr. Bashir Qadir Rashid, who serves patients throughout the State of Nevada.

Dr. Rashid is a highly-trained and trusted family physician who is licensed to practice medicine in Nevada. 

He is affiliated with St. Rose Dominican Hospitals – San Martin Campus, St. Rose Dominican Hospitals – Rose de Lima Campus, MountainView Hospital, Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center, Veterans Affairs Southern Nevada Healthcare System – North Las Vegas, and University Medical Center.

Graduating with the class of 2002 from the Ross University School of Medicine, Dr. Rashid went on to further his training. He performed his residency in family medicine at Riverside University Health System Medical Center from 2002 until 2005.

With over two decades of experience, he is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice family medicine and its sub-specialties.

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. A family physician is often the first person a patient sees when seeking healthcare services. They examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility.
