Capital Health Primary Care – Quakerbridge is excited to announce the addition of Dr. Joseph Guarino, a highly respected and board-certified family physician, to its team. With his extensive experience and commitment to patient-centered care, Dr. Guarino is poised to make a significant impact on the health and well-being of patients in the Lawrenceville community.

Capital Health Primary Care – Quakerbridge offers a range of services to patients aged four years and older. The practice provides regular appointment hours for routine check-ups and follow-up visits, as well as same-day appointments for those in need of immediate care. Its approach emphasizes individualized treatment and preventive care, ensuring that each patient receives the attention and support they deserve.

Dr. Guarino earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from the prestigious Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1990. Following his graduation, he completed a comprehensive family practice residency at the Hospital of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine – City Avenue Campus in Philadelphia. 

Board-certified in family medicine since 1993, Dr. Guarino has dedicated his career to providing high-quality healthcare to patients of all ages. He is also an active member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and the American Osteopathic Association, reflecting his commitment to staying current with advancements in family medicine.

Before joining Capital Health, Dr. Guarino spent 30 years in private practice in Hamilton, New Jersey, where he was the founder and medical director of Derma Cosmedica, an advanced aesthetic medical spa. At Derma Cosmedica, he specializes in a wide array of non-invasive treatments aimed at addressing signs of aging, unwanted hair, acne, and various skin issues. His dedication to helping patients look and feel their best has earned him a loyal following and a reputation for excellence in aesthetic medicine.
