Get to know Otolaryngologist Dr. Luke Burke, who serves patients throughout the State of Houston.

A committed otolaryngologist, Dr. Burke is skilled in treating a wide range of conditions, including sinusitis, ear infections, tonsil and adenoid diseases, thyroid and laryngeal disorders, as well as issues with the salivary glands and nose. He sees patients at his primary office location at Memorial Hermann Greater Heights and at the UT Physician Otorhinolaryngology at the Texas Medical Center.

Pertaining to his educational pursuits, he received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Colgate University and his medical degree from State University of New York, Stony Brook. Finally, he completed his residency in otolaryngology at the University of Texas Health and Science Center at Houston in 1998

Distinguished as a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (FAAO-HNS), the doctor is board-certified in otolaryngology by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, which is a non-profit corporation that has set the mission of ensuring professional standards with certificates and memberships and has offered training in the fields of head neck surgery to professionals since 1924.

As for his academic appointments, Dr. Burke is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at UTHealth Houston McGovern Medical School.

Otolaryngology is the oldest medical specialty in the United States. Pediatric otolaryngologists are primarily concerned with medical and surgical treatment of ear, nose, and throat diseases in children. They generally provide the following services: diagnosis and treatment of ear, nose, and throat disorders, as well as head and neck diseases.
