Dr. Sabbag’s impressive educational background includes a Bachelor’s and Master of Arts from Wesleyan University, followed by graduating as valedictorian from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in 1994. He completed his general surgery internship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and went on to train in orthopaedic surgery at the prestigious Harvard University Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program, where he served as Chief Resident at Massachusetts General Hospital in 1999.
Following his residency, Dr. Sabbag completed a fellowship in orthopaedic trauma, during which he participated in the International AO Trauma Fellowship, gaining invaluable experience in Munich, Germany. He further honed his skills with a hand and microsurgery fellowship at UCLA in 2001 and has since focused his practice on hand surgery.
A proud member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dr. Sabbag is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Hand Surgery from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is also a Qualified Medical Examiner for the State of California and holds clinical appointments at Congress Orthopaedic Surgery Center, Huntington Hospital, and Adventist Health Glendale.
