Dr. Ward’s journey began at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, where she honed her skills in pediatrics and internal medicine. Subsequently, she pursued specialized training in gastroenterology at the University of Colorado, where she excelled as Chief Gastroenterology Fellow.

Following her training, Dr. Ward co-owned and practiced in a private gastroenterology clinic, serving the communities of Broomfield, Boulder, and Denver counties. Here, she developed a deep-seated passion for addressing the unique digestive and rectal health challenges women face.

This realization led Dr. Ward to establish The Women’s Digestive Wellness Project and GutsyRx in Louisville, Colorado, where she provides comprehensive care, including endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures, to women patients suffering from digestive issues.

With over two decades of experience, Dr. Ward is steadfast in her mission to reshape women’s digestive and rectal healthcare. Beyond her clinical practice, she actively advocates for the sustainability of women patients and women in medicine. She is committed to bridging the gaps in women’s digestive care and promoting overall wellness through a holistic approach to gastroenterology.
