A part of Campbell County Health, Behavioral Health Services at Campbell County Memorial Hospital provides the Northeastern Wyoming community with compassionate, confidential, and comprehensive treatment and counseling of behavioral disorders, mental illness, and substance abuse treatment following detox. The outpatient professional team includes psychiatrists, case managers, social workers, nurses, licensed therapists, and compassionate support staff.
“At BHS, treatment begins with an initial screening. Then our professionals work together with the patient to schedule an appointment and proceed to create an individualized treatment plan. This process may or may not include a provider for a prescription medication. This treatment plan could include group therapy, education, and other community-based support options. For patients who may be experiencing severe episodes of mental illness, CCH offers an eight-bed inpatient adult and adolescent unit to provide monitored care” as stated on their website.
At the start of her academic career, Dr. Maymana graduated with her undergraduate degree in Microbiology from Arizona State University. She then went on to earn her medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson.
Furthering her education, she completed her residency in psychiatry at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in 2008. This was followed by a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Maricopa Medical Center in 2010.
Treating others with understanding and respect, Dr. Maymana is board-certified in psychiatry & child and adolescent psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.
