In 1976, Dr. Klein graduated with his medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara School of Medicine in Mexico. Upon relocating to the United States, he completed his internship at Swedish Hospital. From there, he went on to perform his residencies in family medicine at Advocate Ravenswood Medical Center and MacNeal Hospital. 

Board-eligible in aesthetic medicine, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
