Get to know Obstetrician-Gynecologist Dr. Helene Lacoste, who serves patients in Novi, Michigan.

Dr. Lacoste, a valued obstetrician-gynecologist, is a part of the team of professionals at Metro Partners in Women’s Health in Novi, Michigan. She specializes in obstetrics and gynecology, the care of women during pregnancy, and the treatment of diseases that affect women’s reproductive systems.

Her clinical specialities in obstetrics and gynecology include routine gynecological exams and pap smears, fertility issues, pregnancy and childbirth and  menopausal care

A 1987 graduate of the Wayne State University School of Medicine, Dr. Lacoste went on to perform her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Sinai Hospital in 1991.

Thereafter, she attained board certification in obstetrics and gynecology at the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecologists (ABOG). The ABOG is a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada. 

A member of  the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. Lacoste is the current Section Chief of Performance Improvement in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Ascension Providence Hospital – Novi Campus.

Obstetrics and gynecology (OB-GYN) is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties of obstetrics (covering pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period) and gynecology (covering the health of the female reproductive system – vagina, uterus, ovaries, and breasts).

On a more personal note, Dr. Lacoste speaks English and French.
