The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.   Dr Garza has served on the San Antonio Bexar County Medical Society Board of Directors and the chairperson for the Ethics Committee. Her educational background includes a medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and a completed residency in family medicine at Baylor College of Medicine.
