Pertaining to his educational background, Dr. Simoncini graduated with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific – Western University of Health Sciences in 1990. He then went on to perform his internship at Detroit Osteopathic/Bi-County Community Hospital.
Furthering his education, he completed his residency in general surgery at Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital, Madison Heights Campus. This was followed by an additional residency in urologic surgery at Beaumont Hospital – Farmington Hills.
An expert in his field, Dr. Simoncini is board-certified in urology by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (AOBS). The AOBS is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the use of surgery to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
