Dr. Rajeev completed his medical school from the Osmania Medical College, India, in 1993, giving him over two decades of experience in his field. Furthering his education, in the United States he completed his Internal Medicine Residency with the Michigan State University – Grand Rapids program. Wanting to pursue further his education he then completed his General Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Missouri, Columbia. Subsequently he successfully completed multiple fellowships in various fields of Cardiology- Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Connecticut, Hartford; Nuclear Cardiology and Non- Invasive Cardiology Fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Affiliated Hospitals, Harvard Medical School; Echocardiography Fellowship at the East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine. Dr. Rajeev is board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases, Adult Comprehensive Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, CT Angiography, Endovascular Interventions, Endovascular Medicine. Additionally, he has written and published more than twenty-five publications, abstracts and posters. Dr. Rajeev is the Founder and Chairman of Heart and Vascular Care of Georgia and is affiliated with Emory Midtown Hospital Atlanta, WellStar West Georgia Medical Center, Piedmont Hospital Newnan. Cardiovascular Intervention represents advanced training in cardiovascular disease and focuses on the invasive (usually catheter-based) management of heart disease.
