Paul Schweitzer, MD, is the Associate Chief of Cardiology and Professor of Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Schweitzer joined Beth Israel Medical Center of Electrophysiology in 1992, where he is Director of the Pacemaker Clinic. He earned his medical degree from Slovak University in Kosice, Slovakia, and continued his specialized training in the United States at Sinai Hospital in Detroit and Brigham and Women's Hospital. Dr. Schweitzer's past positions include being Director of the Heart Station at New York Medical College, Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Jersey City Medical Center and Chief of Cardiology at Bronx Veterans Medical Center.
