Allergist and Immunologist
2084 E 67th street Brooklyn NY, 11234About
I have developed a love for nutrition while studying biochemistry in high school. I have been determined to be in the medical field and help people take control of their health. Having a father with uncontrolled diabetes at the time, I was inspired to become an expert in food and nutrition and teach others the value of nutrition on their health. I completed my supervised practice and residential hours through NORTHWELL HEALTH dietetic internship which was over 1400 hours of clinical work. My experience includes providing extensive diet education for individuals and groups of differing ages in the following populations: general medicine, inpatient/outpatient pediatric and adult endocrinology, cardiology, renal transplant / dialysis, oncology, gastrointestinal disorders, psychiatry, bariatric, high risk maternity, nutrition support and critical care / ICU training (neurology, medical, surgical, neonatal, and cardio- thoracic). I am an active member of the American Academy of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology (AAAAI) and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. To further serve the community, I also lend my expertise to provide nutrition education to local community affiliations and small businesses. I have a great love for educating and promoting proper health to my community and I am utilizing this passion now while working at The Center for Asthma, Allergy & Immunology.
