Juergen H. A. Bludau, MD, obtained his medical degree in 1987 from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, followed by residencies at Saint Joseph Hospital in 1990, and Newton-Wellesley Hospital until 1993 for Gastroenterology; he completed his medical training with a fellowship in Gerontology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in 1995. Since beginning his succesful career, Dr. Bludau has become a member of the American Geriatrics Society and the Gerontological Society of America. He devotes his time not only to practicing medicine, but teaching at the prestigous Harvard Medical School and writing. Bludau wrote and published a popular book called, 'Aging but Not Old', about the realities, myths and misrepresentations of the anti-aging movement. Today he is the Clinical Chief and Director of Clinical Geriatric Service at Brigham and Women's Hospital, where he practices Internal Medicine and Geriatrics.
