She has affiliation with Montefiore Medical Center, Wakefield Campus, Bronx, NY and North Shore Long Island Jewish Forest Hills ,NY. Her current office location is in a medically underserved area of Wakefield, Bronx.  

Being a well-versed Board certified internist, Dr. Mehta focuses on comprehensive care of patients with emphasis on preventive care, health education along with diagnosis and treatment of conditions that affect the adult population—both acute and chronic. She incorporates the latest health information technology to provide highly efficient care for her patient population. Dr Mehta and her team of highly trained professionals work tirelessly for effective coordination of care post hospital discharge to ensure fast and comfortable recovery to patient’s baseline health status. She is involved in various health education activities for overall improvement of the health status of the community.

She previously held a successful practice in the East Hartford area of Hartford county in Connecticut and was affiliated with Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut. After moving to Long Island, NY, her expertise was well recognised while providing urgent care in Queens, NY. She was also a well respected hospitalist with Forest Hill hospital of Northwell Health system. 

The doctor’s acclaimed career in medicine began after she earned her medical degree from RNT Medical College in India in 2006. After relocating to the United States, she went on to further her education with residency training in internal medicine at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. 

Dr. Mehta is Board Certified with American Board of Internal Medicine. 

Dr. Mehta is licensed to practice medicine in New York, Connecticut.
