Dr. Merle S. Robboy, a distinguished obstetrician-gynecologist with over five decades of experience, remains a cornerstone in women’s healthcare in Newport Beach, California. Affiliated with Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian and MemorialCare Medical Group, Dr. Robboy has dedicated his career to providing comprehensive care in areas such as infertility, menopause, abnormal bleeding, and minimally invasive gynecologic procedures. 

Dr. Robboy earned his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at UCLA Medical Center. Further honing his expertise, he pursued a fellowship at City of Hope National Medical Center. Throughout his career, he has been board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG). His commitment to education is evident from his over 30 years of teaching at the University of California, Irvine.
