Get to know Gynecologic Oncologist Dr. Bernice Robinson-Bennett, who serves patients in West Reading, Pennsylvania.

A skilled gynecologic oncologist and cancer specialist, Dr. Robinson-Bennett is the Chief and Treasurer of the Division of Gynecologic Oncology at Tower Health Medical Group Gynecologic Oncology – West Reading.

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Robinson-Bennett earned her medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She then went on to complete her residency at Reading Hospital and her fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Health Science Center.

Dedicated to clinical excellence, the doctor is board-certified in gynecologic oncology & obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define specialty standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.

Attributing her success to putting her patients first, her persistence and hard work, Dr. Robinson-Bennett is an active member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the Society of Gynecologic Oncology.

Gynecologic oncology is a specialized field of medicine that focuses on cancers of the female reproductive system, including ovarian cancer, uterine cancer, vaginal cancer, cervical cancer, and vulvar cancer. A gynecologic oncologist is a physician who specializes in diagnosing and treating cancers that are located on a woman’s reproductive organs.

Outside of practicing medicine, Dr. Robinson-Bennett enjoys reading. Her favorite professional publication is the Oncology Journal.
