Nam P. Nguyen, MD, is a well-versed radiation oncologist serving as Professor and Chair of the Radiation Oncology Department at Howard University in Tucson, Arizona. He is also President and C.E.O of Radiation Oncology at International Geriatric Radiotherapy Group in Washington, DC. He received his medical degree in 1983 at the University of Liege, Belgium, and completed extensive postgraduate training, including at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio/Department of Internal Medicine, the University of Wisconsin at Madison/Department of Internal Medicine and Division of Endocrinology, the University of Chicago/Department of Radiation Oncology, the University of Montpellier in France/Department of Radiation Oncology, and Beth Israel Hospital in, New York/Department of Radiation Oncology. Dr. Nguyen received his board certification in internal medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1988 and his board certification in therapeutic radiology from the American Board of Therapeutic Radiology in 1995. He is a professional member of the International Geriatric Radiotherapy Group.
